As a Scheduler for the Södertörn Connector at the Swedish Transport Administration, you will help facilitate the daily lives of residents and businesses throughout Sweden. You do this by contributing to the infrastructure of the future.

We are now looking for someone who is passionate about infrastructure and has experience in scheduling. Here you will have the chance to play a key role in one of the largest road projects in the Stockholm region.

"My name is Björn Zetterman, and I will be your manager. I believe we perform best when we enjoy our work and feel a sense of community. Therefore, I want our workplace to be characterized by engagement, open dialogue, and a balance between work and leisure."

Responsibilities

The Södertörn Connector is part of the Outer Crossroad that runs from Täby in the north to Haninge in the south. The Outer Crossroad consists of the Norrort Road, which is already completed, the Stockholm bypass, which is under construction, and the Södertörn Connector, which is still in planning and constitutes the final stretch between E4/E20 and Nynäsvägen. The Södertörn Connector is a prerequisite for a growing Södertörn. It enables expanded public transport, creates better conditions for freight traffic, and relieves the regional road network. The goal is for the Södertörn Connector to become a sustainable, smooth, and safe transport route for everyone.

Here you will have the chance to work in a team of engaged and supportive colleagues in projects that contribute to the overarching goal of the Swedish Transport Administration - "Everyone arrives smoothly, green, and safely."

We are preparing the project for an upcoming production phase, which means we are strengthening the program staff with the resources and competencies required moving forward.

As a scheduler in the time and cost management group within the program staff for the Södertörn Connector, you will be part of a team of experienced schedulers and support the projects with:

  • establishing and updating schedules and WBS (Work Breakdown Structure).
  • Planning, monitoring, and analyzing progress and reporting deviations.
  • Preparing decision-making materials together with the project operations.
  • Contributing to the further development and implementation of new working methods.
